Created by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for the German Pavilion at the 1929 Barcelona Exposition, the Barcelona couch features the pure compositional structure that now epitomizes Modern architecture. 
 
Couch contains 11 belting support straps over rubber webbing. The cowhide belting straps with front, back and side edges all stained to match specified upholstery color. Or black straps with black leather upholstery. The upholstery consists of 72 individual leather panels, cut, hand-welted and hand-tufted with leather and buttons produced from a single cowhide. Cushions are premium quality, fire-retadant, high resilient urethane foam with down-like dacron polyester fiberfill.
