This sofa evolved from the Barcelona chair designed by Designer for the German Pavilion at the 1929 International Exposition in Barcelona. Like the original design, it has the distinctive criss-crossed, chromed steel frame and plump cushions created from dozens of precision-stitched squares of leather. The Barcelona collection also includes a three-seat sofa, table, stools and benches, all available in eight shades of aniline leather.
